Cakes for kids!
Cakes for kids is my effort to give back to the community. My goal with this is to give a custom cake to a local foster child for every cake I sell. Not some basic cake either, I want to make sure these kiddos get the cake of their dreams! If you would like to donate it would be so helpful to making sure each and every kid gets a cake.

Why foster children?
I have been familiarized with the foster care system over the years with family members that were adopted and lived in the foster care system. Now my older brother and sister in law are foster parents and being older I have a better understanding of what these sweet children have gone through and the love they so deeply long for. I asked God what I can do to make a difference in the lives of the children in our foster care system and he gave me the desire to connect with some incredible people in this area who have helped in my goal to get cakes to kids and spread the word of my message. What keeps me going is how often I hear just little things like, “I’ve never had a birthday party or I’ve never had a cake or seen my name on a cake before” my heart aches for these children and I want to help as many as I can not only get a cake but offer words of encouragement and the love of Jesus with them through a personalized card to each teen.
